               एक पिता

अपने बच्चों से कभी ये नहीं कहते,

तेरे सपनों को मैं पुरा नहीं कर सकता,

मेरे पास तेरे लिए धन-दौलत नहीं है!

                एक माँ

अपने बच्चों से कभी ये नहीं कहती,

तुझे बचाते बचाते मैं जख्मी हो गयी हूँ,

तेरी ख्वाइशें पूरी करते करते मैं टूट गयी हुँ,

तेरे सपने पुरे नहीं होने से मैं कितनी रातें रोयी हुँ!!

जिंदगी के यही दो खजाने है,

जहाँ बिन मांगे सब कुछ मिल जाता हैं !!
